I hope everyone had a fun and safe halloween! My little guy went trick or treating in the neighborhood and then we went to a local trunk or treat. When we got home, we retaliated and got our neighbors back with some TP (it's an ongoing "war" every Halloween week).

Here's another one of the little ones from my fall/halloween mini sessions...she was such a cutie patootie. I'm so glad that a lot of the Mom's brought more than one outfit for the kids....it made it even more fun to get some different shots. And without further ado.....Sophie.
This past weekend, it was a gorgeous day to do these mini sessions. The kids were absolutely adorable and I don't know who had more fun - the kids, the parents or ME! Here's a few of the sneak sneak peeks I sent the parents and I'll be posting more this week. I'll try to post a few each day to get us all the fall/halloween mood :)

For most of my life, I've always had my hair short. Sometimes it has been a little too short (boy short or spikey short). Brian always says he likes me with long hair, but after a year of always wearing my hair up in a clip, I had been tossing around the idea of getting it cut. The other thing you should know about me is when I do decide to get my haircut, I want to get it cut RIGHT NOW!
I had never been to this particular salon before, but had heard good things about it. I made the call at 10:40am and they just happened to have an opening at noon today. YEA! So off I went.
Here are the before pictures....the quality is horrendous, but I was home alone and tried to take a self portrait (I guess I need to work on that..haha). I should also know better than to take pics in my yellow office, because it makes me look umm...yellow!

I was getting the camera ready for Anthony and I took a couple of pics of him to get the settings right and just happened to love this pic of him!
Yesterday was my Mom's birthday, so as is our family custom, we had dinner together. My sister, Diana and her husband, Ed have a financial class that they go to every Wednesday night, so Mom & Dad keep Edwin (my nephew). Dinner was short and sweet but it was fun and Mom loved it.
I hadn't taken many pictures of Edwin lately, so I sorta went overboard..haha.
A birthday kiss for Grandma when we first got there.....
After a yummy dinner of barbequed beef sandwiches on the yummiest rolls ever...potato salad...green beans....it was time for cake! Anthony picked out the cake - an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. He was so excited to get Grandma a halloween cake "cuz it's almost Halloween and it's her birthday!"

While we were having cake, Grandma opened her presents. Over the past year, she has lost a lot of weight (go Grandma!) so we all got her gift certificates to Kohls so she can go shopping. I also got her a 16x20 wall print of my brother and sister in law. Once I get a good pic of my little family and my sister's, she'll get those large prints too for the living room wall. There were some major traffic problems in Wilmington yesterday (worse than normal), so my sister wasn't able to get to Kohls before dinner.....
After dinner, the boys danced in the kitchen....we all watched, laughed and I of course took more pics before we called it an early night. Diana & Ed left for class, Edwin got a bath from Grandma and we headed home to do homework.....
Then, Edwin got a hold of my cell phone. I let him play with it for a little while, but when I took it away he was less than thrilled. I hadn't heard him cry like that in a looong time (he's usually the happiest baby ever!) What a mean ole auntie I am!
