Crystal & Casey

Today, Diana, Edwin & I took our first trip down to Sunset Beach for an engagement shoot for Crystal & Casey. I'll be shooting their wedding at the end of March (and Diana is going to be my second shooter!) Crystal and I have been talking over the past month or so via email and phone, but today was the first time I got to meet the happy couple. They were so sweet and a lot of fun....Casey had a sense of humor like Brian, so I was right at home. The parents of the bride and groom came along too to get a few shots..unfortunately the weather at the beach was verrrry windy...so we had to get creative. Here are just a few of my favorites...ok a lot of my favorites because they are a beautiful couple and very photogenic...I'm really looking forward to doing the wedding photos and in early March, Crystal and I will be doing some bridal portraits (no peek on the blog for those until after the wedding..sorry...can't take a chance that Casey would sneek a peek!)

Ok, here are the pics....

Thanks guys for a fun afternoon!

In this next one...I was having a little fun with the guys...

...and then the girls....

Teeny Tiny Sneak Peak...

Little Andrew was in a much better mood today.....I'm calling it an early night but I just had to put a couple of my favorites up here....I know Mommy & Daddy are looking forward to seeing them :) I'll post a few more in the next day or two...stay tuned!

Spencer Turns One!

So a couple of weeks ago, I was scheduled to take some pictures at a 1 yr old birthday party...Diana and Edwin were invited to the party (Edwin's 1st party) and we were really looking forward to it.

Then...I got sick....really really really sick....high fever, body aches, chills, stomach "issues"...etc...it was bad....so my darling sister and photographer assistant extraordinaire came to my house...got a 2 minute lesson on how to use my camera and brought it along and took the birthday pics. I think she did a great job. I just finished editing them and thought I would make this little collage to share all of the little details - Jessica thought of everything.

You'll be seeing more of this little guy soon because we're going to do the family pictures that I missed the day of his party..sorry guys....but I think Diana more than made up for it :) (Click on the collage to make it bigger)

It's a Boy...

On Sunday afternoon, I got to go see 5 day old Andrew....unfortunately he was not in any mood to have his pictures taken....we got just a couple with his big brother Jacob but that was it...so I'll be going back tomorrow to try again. But Jacob who is only 11 days younger than Anthony was a lot of fun to play with and photograph. He was full of energy and very silly - I have just a little bit of experience with that :) So here's a few of our quick shoot before we decided to give up and do it another day. Lesley looked great especially since she had been sliced open 5 days earlier!!

Thanks guys for letting me come visit...hopefully little A will be feeling more cooperative tomorrow :)

I told you Jacob was being silly...here's the photo album that he already had pictures in from his little brother's birth - it was so sweet. Some were pics that he had taken!

The brothers....

Just as his big brother gave him a kiss, Andrew started fussing (purely a coincidence..haha)...this was one of the last pics we got for the day because he was having no more of a big ole camera in his face...but isn't he so cute??

This isn't the best picture but I thought it was so cute...this was Jacob's countdown calendar to baby A's birthday...it was a planned C-section so they knew the date ahead of time...so sweet!

The Bradstreets...

Yesterday, I got to spend the afternoon with my friend Jen and her family. We started downtown and then went down to the beach for a little bit. The weather was gorgeous....almost too gorgeous because the sun was out in full force (which made for some tough shots)...but I think we did pretty good. We had to wrap up quickly because it was time for the Super Bowl..haha....

Here's a sneak peek of their session....hope you guys like it! What a beautiful family :)

Some Fun Downtown..

I had the best time today taking pictures for Ms. Colandra and her boys....Jayden is 18 months and is her son....and Justice (5) is her little brother. Both boys were so well behaved....Justice was a total model, but Jayden wanted nothing to do with me....he warmed up by the end, but I still wasn't able to crack a smile no matter how hard I tried, but I think he had a good time anyways. We took a walk downtown - it was gorgeous today! We stopped to play ball, looked at the boats in the river, saw lots of doggies and then went for ice cream. On the walk back to the cars, we got some shots of Ms Colandra lookin hot! She was a total natural!! I got a little carried away and took somewhere around 600 pictures during our 2 hours together...lol!!! So here's just a little preview of what I got...I hope you like them!! Feel free to leave me some blog love in the comments section :)
