On Saturday morning, we got up early, went out for breakfast and went to Pet Smart. We were on a mission to get a puppy. We wanted a girl, that was still really little and wouldn't get very big. As it turns out, we got there pretty early and there was only one puppy there. Brian took him out of his crate and played with him for a little bit. I just glanced at him and said.... "it's too big and it's a boy....next!" We went and talked to the lady from the organization and she told us she had 2 puppies at home and that she'd be willing to send us some pictures later that day and if we were interested we could foster one of them. Ok, so we thought we'll go over to Petco just to see what they had. But we didn't get that far. Brian and Anthony stopped to play with the first puppy again. And somehow the little booger ended up worming his way into my heart too. After 3 hours of walking around with him at the store and trying to decide what we wanted to do...deciding he was the one we wanted and then getting all of his stuff to take him home...we can home with our puppy. Anthony named him....
Meet SCOOBY DOO....
He's 4 months old and is part sheperd and part boxer (more boxer). He will end up being about 50-60 pounds. (not exactly the small dog we wanted..haha). We're all adjusting to having the little guy around. So far he's really really good and really sweet. The cat isn't all that fond of him, but they are slowly getting used to each other. I'm sure this isn't the last time you'll see him on the blog.....
