The Spurlock Family

Hello!!! I am alive and well, just been buried under lots and lots of edits and really fun family sessions. I'm sorry to leave all my blog readers with nothing to read over the past couple of weeks, but I am back with lots of sessions to share. First up is the Spurlock family.

Just a little background on how I got hired to shoot this fantastic family...  I belong to a couple of forums online for photographers and one other photographer was looking for somebody to take family pictures for her at the beach when they were all going to be on vacation in NC. The cool thing is...she and her husband and 2 kids are in Germany where her husband is stationed in the Army. They flew to NC and met up with her husband's Mom and 2 sisters and their families for a week at the beach. Their session was a lot of fun and here are a few of my favorites....

Spurlock family...it was great to meet you and I hope we can do this again next year!!

Don't worry. The blog and website aren't going anywhere. This blog will still be the place visit to see sneak peaks of photo sessions and to get the latest news from Katie. The Facebook page is just another way for KMP to interact with people on the Internet and another way for people to come across Katie's business.

I'm back!

Hi Everyone!

I'm back from my trip and had a great time. I'm working on catching up on emails and I'm behind on a ton of edits - so please continue to be patient. Now I'll have the Olympics to watch at all hours of the day while I edit :)

When I read other photographer's blogs, I always enjoy when they share some of their personal life. I've been meaning to do that more, so I thought I would share my trip with you. Visit my personal blog if you'd like to see pictures from my trip, along with journaling.

I've got blog posts to catch up on too and I start shooting sessions again next week. Don't forget about the August special. Book your session(s) for the rest of the year before August 15th, pay by August 31st and you will still get the $50 rate. As of September 15th, my session fee will be $75 for up to 4 people.
